Prep – Icons and Card
In preparation for Artfight 2026, I created icons for all 10 of my characters in stages – first sketch, then flat color, shadows, then highlights (some of those were actually more steps, but then the list would be too long).
Below is an example of the process.
I then used some of these icons, in addition to an original illustration to make a card for team Tragedy.
I also updated my profile using assets from Nagasriel, capdown, NixzArtz and UselessTherapy on Toyhouse.
prep – REf sheets
I made three new ref sheets in preparation for Artfight – two of which have their own posts associated with them so I went ahead and linked those below. There is also the third ref sheet I made for Bubs (of the Trigs) that is pretty simple so far and doesn’t really warrant its own unique post yet. I plan to further develop it and create additional refs with details about outfits and alternate settings, but I decided to leave that for later so I had more time to work on other projects.
With these uploads, my preparation for Artfight 2026 was complete! I look forward to getting started!
